H. Jacqueline Clark, O.D.

Before graduating with her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry, “Dr Jackie” was born and raised in Radford, Virginia, where most of her family still resides. As a Radford High School Bobcat and James Madison University Duke, Dr. Jackie is proud to continue to call Virginia her home. During her time at JMU in Harrisonburg, Virgina, she completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Health Science. She was also a member of Eta Sigma Gamma, a national health education honorary society. After graduating from JMU, she then moved to Memphis, Tennessee to attend Southern College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007. She completed clinical externships at Blue Ridge Eye Associates in Lexington, Virginia as well as at the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital in Bethel, Alaska. She has been a member of the FUMC Pearisburg Preschool Board, the Pearisburg Merchant's Association, and the Pearisburg Junior Women's Club. She is currently a member of the Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending as much time as possible on Claytor Lake.
