Back again for the 5th year, we invite you to join us for the Eye Run! This year the event will take place on Saturday August 18th at 8:30 a.m. The event will include a 10k run, 5k run/walk, and a children's fun run. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. Every year we have many participants who walk and those who are seasoned runners. The start and finish lines for the event will be located in front of Clarity Eye Care (formerly Pearisburg Eye Associates) at 122 Tazewell Street, Pearisburg, Va.
 

We are very proud to once again be part of the Run About Sports Race Series. This year, the Eye Run is the 7th race in the series and overall top male and female winners will each receive a pair of Nike Sunglasses. We will also raffle a third pair of sunglasses and other items following the awards presentation (you must be present to win). In addition, this year, we are dedicating our run to the individuals affected by ovarian cancer as well as their families. We are lucky to have an ovarian cancer survivor make this beautiful Eye Run quilt which we will raffle off in order to raise money for those affected by the disease. This beautiful quilt is currently on display in our Pearisburg location but raffle tickets may be purchased in our Christiansburg location as well.
